Ameerah Bad’r is an artist and poet who has been traveling the past year. Places always have an effect on her work, and the places she has called home include: Idaho (both North and South), New Mexico, Amman, Jordan, and the Midwest. Humor, identity, and tiny moments are at the forefront of Ameerah’s work. Ameerah uses creativity to navigate spaces, places, and the sweetness of life; she is looking to create that momentous occasion of glow. The mediums she works with range from coding, animation, printmaking, and embroidery but she also always makes time for illustration. Honesty and response is important within Ameerah’s artwork and writing; she is not afraid to use the tools of creativity to activate change.. Ameerah graduated with bachelor degrees in both commercial art and fine art from Boise State University in 2019; have her foot both in the fine art world and the editoral world, she leverages both skillsets. She is currently working on a small book of small poems and is open for commissions for the winter of 2026
